Gifts to this fund should be used for the general support of an annual seminar series in the Richard Fairbanks School of Public Health. The lecturer will be a public health leader whose career and personal efforts have been dedicated to rigorous public health research, education, and practice aimed at preventing disease, promoting health, and enhancing quality of life.

The lecturer must have national significance within the field of public health whose insight and practice is relevant to the health of Indiana and current issues that will focus on improving the health status within the state. The lecturer will be selected through a nomination process and determined by the senior academic leadership within the school.
