Ruchi Sahu is a physician from India with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Sawai Man Singh Medical College. With a strong interest in public health, she moved to the United States to pursue an MPH in Epidemiology at Texas A&M University. After graduation, she worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the Dermatology Translational Research Clinic. Her work primarily involved human-subject research using medical devices, including high-frequency ultrasound for skin imaging, to study quantitative changes in systemic sclerosis. Her research interests include cancer and chronic disease epidemiology and applying epidemiologic methods to clinically meaningful questions.
